WORKSHOP: Exploring Leather-craft Through Clay | Saturday May 9th 10:00-4:00pm

In this hands-on workshop, students will create a ceramic mug that mimics the look and feel of leather. Using hand-building techniques and leather-working tools, participants will learn to shape and texture clay. Students will also explore making sprig molds for metal closure details. The focus will be on treating the clay like leather, while emphasizing form, functionality, and craftsmanship. Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop encourages creative exploration of texture and material.

- 1st Half of the Workshop: Going over the materials used and demoing the process
- Lunch Break
- 2nd Half of the Workshop: Applying the skills learned from the demos
