Wood fired pottery is when the main fuel source is wood. The kiln takes start to finish over a week to complete from loading the kiln, constantly feeding the kiln with wood for over 24 hrs and letting it naturally cool for several days. Each piece in the wood kiln is unique based on its position in the kiln and how its affected by the wood ash. For more info and to see the process check out my wood fire video below.
